Industry changes and empty wormholes
Industry changes dropped a couple of days ago, and in general the sentiment about these is that it’s for the better.
I don’t mine, I extracted the skill points from the one character I had that was able to be in an exhumer because I have zero interest in mining.
BUT I do use what the miners get out of those rocks, and if it means they’ll mine more, it usually means it’ll be a bit cheaper for me.
Obviously, everything I’m making will lose it’s worth already, and when you have a few ships in queue that take 30 days to complete, it sucks to lose a bit of those margins.
But in the end, it’ll be better for the game, and that’s what matters.
Plus, for capitals and such it’ll take a few weeks, months even, for the new prices to reflect.
In other news, C5 space is dead. Well, this is not news, it’s been like this for a while now, especially since after the summer. But having rolled for a few weeks, trying to find targets. Even trying to fight other people. It is clear that the blue donut is destroying high-class space, and that’s a real shame.
Not that I don’t understand why, it’s an amazing way to make ISK. But holy damn is it boring if you want to find people to fight. And the few people that try to punch up, just get annihilated. I truly and sincerely hope that there is going to be some in fighting soon. Most groups that I know are moving to lower class or out of w-space altogether. And I know that the ISK making is nice, but having people to brawl and shoot is way nicer.
We’ll see what the future holds but right now I do not see it go well for wormholes quite yet.
Mind you, I’m not saying there should be a big war like last time (there was a big shift in High class when a few groups decided they did not like the monopoly of a few other groups) because that obviously failed hard due to it just being more a spur of a moment thing.
But something needs to stir high-class space up. I just don’t know what.
